Before that she
was chosen as a finalist in two categories of the Brownes Yoghurt
Every Woman of the Year Awards 2005 and subsequently won the Education
award. She also won the
2003 Business and Higher Education Round Table Australian Entrepreneurial
Educator of The Year Lifetime award.

She mentored the YAA Western Australian winner of the Young Business Person of the Year Award (2003) and was involved in the management of the Shell Livewire program. | My son Shane, 25, graduated from Edith Cowan University with an Information Technology Degree in 2001 He has worked as a high level computer software developer specializing in security and encryption technologies for five years. He is now planning on putting his skills to use for his own benefit by setting up a software development company. A good fun day for Shane is getting up at 6pm and writing endless lines of computer code all night whilst learning a new computer language or two during coffee breaks. Jessica, 22, is my daughter. Her life revolves around friends and music. She is also a keen dressmaker and loves cooking yummy things like cakes and biscuits. She share her life with her very patient partner Simon who has managed to tame her for a few years now - not an easy task! Jessica recently left her job as Supervisor at the Design School of Curtin University where she worked for several years and took up a new challenging position in a financial planning firm. Her latest move has been to the Australian Experiential Learning Centre where she works in business development and administration. |
| Clinton, 23, is my youngest son. After an 18 month stint in New Zealand Clinton returned to set up in the Western Australian goldfields at Kalgoorlie. He recently sold his house in Kalgoorlie and bought a another one in Perth where he has moved with his lovely partner Tyllye and their two dogs, Roxy the Rotty/German Shepherd cross and Leo the monstrous German Shepherd puppy. Clinton moved on from his management position in Harvey Norman to take up a new challenge as Business Development manager for the Australian Experiential Learning Centre. Clints favourite toys include his new RX 8 Falcon called "Chompa" and a huge home theatre sound sytem with plasma screen.
