A painting from 2011, never before seen. One of the paths at *Bushmead Rifle Range, Helena Valley, where I’d walk my dogs every evening. This beautiful land, crossed by Kadina Brook and home to multitudes of Black Cockatoos and Kangaroos is now marked for development.
I tried to paint as much of it as I could when I lived there. It was just at the end of my street and attracted me like a magnet. I must have at least a thousand photos of this area which had so many different things that interested me and I wanted to document it all.
